A massage to the 27 year old me

Hey,

How's it going? How has life treated you in the 2020s? I'm writing this a couple days before your 17th birthday, I hope it was good. So anyway the purpose of this letter is to remind you of some things before your adult life.

I really hope that you grew as a person and that you overcame your insecurities and fears. As you know we still have a few right now. Also I hope that you learned from your mistakes and didn't repeat them. Obviously I don't know what your life is like because I still haven't even decided what I want to do. My wish is that you found that thing that you're truly passionate about and that you're happy doing it.

I hope you completely forget about this message and this website for years, only to get an automated email in a decade and remember life as it was in the year 2020. Back when there was nothing to really worry about and when you were still a kid. In case you forgot I want you to remember that you wouldn't be who you are if it wasn't for your family,  friends,  teachers. They shaped you as a person and that has unlimited value.

Oh and do you still remember the protests? The way that everyone in the world united and decided to do something about injustice. You can't forget it, ever. You have a voice and you can use it. It's all just one big butterfly effect. You might want to say something or stand for something and who knows it might just become huge and more and more people will join you. You never know. So no matter how hopeless or pointless it might seem if you believe in something express it, let it be known.

Well I don't think there's anything else I want to tell you. Always love yourself and others and never stop trying to be a better person.
